My kids with their Halloween gifts to give

Each of my kids made a goodie pouch full of goodies. My little boy made one for his fourth grade teacher and my girl made one for her bus driver for getting them safe to school and back each day.

I believe they each did a great job.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!

Halloween nail art

Each Sunday evening, my daughter and I sit down and I do her nails. Since Halloween is the season; this is the design we came up with.

[#31] 31 Days of Halloween

Its Halloween and the challenge I gave myself to complete and post daily for the whole month of October has come to an end. Yippy I did it. Today for the final 31 Days of halloween showing, I present to you my mini album. I didn't post every picture but here I did post some pictures with details, and some of the interactive pages. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think. Here soon I will be placing this on ebay.

[#30] 31 Days of Halloween

Almost to the finish. Today I am sharing my three page TP mini album. I made this to go along with my other Halloween mini, which I will post tomorrow.
Front cover. For the binder I used some greenish fibers. The witch had been stamped and then stamped again, fussy cut and then placed on dimentionals over the first stamped image.
 Second page.
Third page. Here for the spider webs, I embossed with white.
Tags that are with the album
The tabs on the tags, I created to where it would spell out eek. For the tabs I used my cloub hole punch to create these tabs.
Close up.

Thanks to all that come to see my postings. Tomorrow is the last day of my posts for the 31 Days of Halloween. It was a challenge but I did complete it. On a different note. I want to express my prayers for all those people on the east coast that are being effected from Sandy. With saying that, God Bless.

[#29] 31 Days of Halloween

I love projects that use some sort of low lighting, such as candles, or small strings of lights. This luminary I created with black cardstock. You won't be able to see within this photo, but I had cut out windows on each side and as you can see with this window, I created all the other windows just like the one you can see. I used vellum and stamped the images on and use my Martha Stewart fence punch and created the fence. The lighting I used is one of those flameless battery operated candles. Photo doesn't do this project justice but this came out so darn cute and so easy to do.

Come back again tomorrow for day 30. Two more days until Halloween.

[#23] 31 Days of Halloween

Like to share these cute gift containers. Just using plastic cups and slightly altered them but works great for a gift container. The skeletons used is from a Halloween garland that I disassembled and now using the skinny guys on my containers. Then I slightly ran paint down the inside to look like goo and placed Halloween labels, (K and Company) and used some rope string. Simple and adorable little treat containers.

For Day 20, I have another two-pocket envelope card I want to share. It again has paper piecing technique. All else about this can be explained in the other post I added for this same type of card. Thanks for visiting and later I will be adding day 21. Have a great day!

[#19] 31 Days of Halloween

[#17] 31 Days of Halloween

Morning everyone, day 17 Of October, half way through and before long, Halloween will be here. Today I would like to share is my tri-fold treat holder. The size is approximately 3x10 and opens in a tri-fold manner. On the inside left panal I created a pocket that holds tags. I have included three tags. Then on the inside middle and right panals, I had adhered some chocolate bars with glue dots. This folds up. I have black ribbon for closure and a vintage halloween image of a witch and a cat. The cat I had glossy accented to stand out more. Then for the title, I have two brooms in the background of the title. The title says, "Happy Halloween, have a be-witching time." Then on the bottom, I have added some black ribbon. This conludes my day #17. Like to see you all tomorrow for day #18. Have a great day. Remember, we just made it through Monday and Tuesday, all down hill from here.

And added some stickles of course to the middle ghost and the fire. Then made a title area which this title states, "My boo friends and I say that you are boo-tiful." The the cards just opens up to reveal where I left blank for one to write their sentiments. Middle panal is colored cardstock, and the two side panals is of the designer paper. Hope to see you all for day #17.

[#10] 31 Days of Halloween

Today I am sharing with you all is my Double Twist Easel Card. The theme I set for this card is Hocus Pocus. For the base of this card, I have an image of the three witches and the title of Hocus Pocus. On the left panal I have the three witches flying in front of the moon with lightning coming from their hands. Hard to see in the picture but I have designer paper from a fall/halloween paper stact then have layered some lightning designer paper as well. On the right panal also layered of design paper and the image consist of the three witches flying in the moonlight with their brooms and also a Happy Halloween sentiment. [#8] 31 Days of Halloween

Today I am sharing some Halloween tags I prepared. To make these tags, I used some mixed media techniques. Basic techniques. First step I had gesso the tags. Then stamped some script then stamped the moon and clouds. I had also stamped the Happy Halloween sentiment after adhering the haunted house image. The final touches, I had watered down some black acrylic black paint and distressed the edges. Simple project and one of my favorites.

Visit tomorrow to see project #9 of the 31 Days of Halloween.

[#7] 31 Days of Halloween

Aww awww. I am sharing a side step card I created. As you can see, I wanted to add a witch to this scene. Picture doesn't do justice to this card, it turned out really cute. On the left side of the card, I have a witched brew poem that I added and behind the poem is a witches broom. Now on the right side, the steps. I have it as it seems layered. Back layer I have a witch with her brew. In one hand shes stirring her brew and the other hand she holds her broom. I had fussy cut her out then adhered to the back layer. Both the middle layer and front layer are some rats that I had fussy cut. I do now wish the pictures turned out better. Little too dark. Oh forgot in front I have the chaldron that I fussy cut, and the brew you may be able to see that's green, I added a sparkle touch and placed some green stickles there. Come back again to see project #8 that will be posted Monday. Thanks for visiting.

[#6] 31 Days of Halloween

Welcome to #6. This is just a standard card with some mixed media technique. I wanted to create some type of a dreary scene. I did some mod podging, and some painting with a haunted house image. Then added some 3-D affect with the black fence I painted and placed that on dimentionals, as well as the tombstones. The trees are fuzzy cutted and allows the scene to stand out more.  Again just a standard card. Thanks for viewing.

[#5] 31 Days of Halloween

Today I am gonna share day #5 project but I will also be sharing day #6 and #7 since the next two days I will be unable to post.

This is one of my two-pocket envelope cards. This is made from one business letter envelope. Contains two pockets for your sentiment, gift cards or even some candy. The bear is dressed in a little cute outfit from my fall and halloween pack of paper. The bear is also paper pieced. She is attached to a belly band for closure of the card. very cute

[#3] 31 Days of Halloween

Welcome to Day 3 of 31 Days of Halloween. Sharing with you all today is an halloween banner I created in the shape of ghost. Pretty basic. Not much description needed, basically self-explanitory. I used paper from a halloween/fall pack I have. Used black cardstock for the base and white paper for the ghost itself. Real plain and basic. Didn't distress or really have to do much. Just cut out three different sized ghost on corridinating paper and begin layering.

Come back tomorrow for [#4] 31 Days of Halloween.

[#2] 31 Days of Halloween

Welcome to Day 2 of the 31 Days of Halloween. Today I will be sharing you another card. This card is an easel card. Turned out super duper cute with the kids images. I colored the image with water colored pencils. Then I had to add some spark so I used a little of stickels on the kids' outfits. I had created some circle tile pieces to use for the easel prop. Cut out an image and then used glossy accents and placed each on dimentionals. I do believe easel cards are my favorite and so easy to make.

Come back tomorrow to see Day [#3] 31 Days of Halloween project.

[#1] 31 Days of Halloween

Follow me daily as each day I will do my best and post an Halloween project each day until the night we can trick-n-treat. I was unable to get on yesturday but for our first day of the 31 days of Halloween I have created this spooky look of a card. Style of the card is the double dutch fold where I was inspired from a video on youtube. Channel unknown because I visit many channels. For the dutch fold, I utilized it with a fence. Photos doesn't do the project justice because this came out to be a real neat card.
Come back tomorrow and see the next day of the 31 Days of Halloween. Hope you see you tomorrow.
